Capita’s Fire Service College has opened a new Immersive Skills Lab, a purpose-built, fully flexible learning space created to support practical and collaborative firefighter training and skills development.

In June 2017, 13 Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service trainee firefighters arrived at the College for eight weeks FFDP training to take advantage of the unique training opportunities available.
The Fire Service College (FSC) was engaged to review the emergency plans for the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, with a focus on the armed intruder and counter-CBRN elements of that plan.
