Course overview

With major developments in car safety over the last decade and a global shift towards electrification, today’s emergency crews face far greater challenges and complexities in extricating casualties safely from vehicles than ever before.

To ensure that our RTCI course continues to meet learners’ requirements, we have incorporated several new developments to enable delivery of a more extensive and in-depth curriculum, these include the safe management of Electric vehicles and scenario-based learning involving a multi agency approach, as well as leading the extrication model through awareness of advanced trauma management.
Course participants work with members of the ATAAC Group, and medical professionals to develop a multi-agency approach to Casualty Extrication using the latest learning.
