Over the weekend of 30th June – 1st July, Hannah Barron (Sales & Events Co-ordinator at the FSC), along with 2,000 other adventurers, walked, jogged, or ran along the stunning Cotswold Way. Starting in Bath and finishing in Cheltenham, the participants covered an incredible 100km with some fantastic views and tough hills – over 2,400 metres of climb! The route was broken down into four stages of between 20-31 km each with food & drink and support teams available at the end of each stage. Hannah completed this testing challenge and raised an amazing £643 for Mind, a charity which provides advice and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
Hannah says “I wanted to do something challenging where I would need to push myself. I found it very painful and difficult at times, but the charity I had chosen got me through it - it was the reason I finished, not only for myself, but for the people that Mind supports.”
