Course overview and learning outcomes
This qualification is nationally recognised and is aimed at experienced fire safety officers who are looking to develop their knowledge and skills for more complex premises and environments.
The content is based on the National Occupational Standards and is intended to both support and formalise development in the Fire Safety Officer role for both Audit and Inspection and create a solid base for further learning.
All our fire safety courses are part of a development pathway where the candidate must complete each level of qualification before moving onto the next unless they can provide evidence of an equivalent qualification.
The course is delivered over one week (5 days total) and will provide the knowledge and understanding for the delegates to inspect complex premises and environments.
Qualifications are awarded through Skills for Justice (SFJ Awards).

Our technological solutions enable a blended delivery model, combining e-learning, online and/or face-to-face learning. All learning and assessment will be hosted and supported through the College`s Learning Management System (LMS), which provides learners with a centralised portal to access their learning materials and undertake their written and practical assessments. As part of the learning and assessment process, skilled and qualified tutors will be available throughout to guide and provide expert advice to learners.
