The Regulatory Reform(Fire Safety)Order requires that almost all workplaces undertake a 'suitable and sufficient' fire risk assessment. This is to identify likely hazards and take steps to prevent fire in order to protect the safety of any relevant persons, and should a fire break out, ensure that effective protection measures are in place.
The 3 day course is intended to offer practical hands-on experience in this area and allows delegates to gain experience in undertaking fire risk assessments.
The course is assessed by way of a practical fire risk assessment activity, normally submitted post course.

Learners will be expected to have some background knowledge of fire safety but may have little or no experience in undertaking fire risk assessments. If the learner is new to the arena of Fire Safety it is strongly suggested they consider the 5 day Fire Safety Management and Fire Risk Assessment course.
This course is aimed at those who have responsibility for undertaking fire risk assessments or for auditing those submitted by others and who wish to receive further certification in this subject in order to demonstrate competency.
The course has received approval from the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) for the purpose of their Register of Fire Risk Assessors and Auditors.
