The aim of this course is to provide the underpinning technical and practical skills required for persons wishing to undertake Fire Risk Assessments in Complex premises.

This course is for persons who wish to gain a qualification in Fire Risk Assessment. They may be new entrants to the industry or with Fire Safety Management responsibility.
Learners will receive an excellent grounding in core fire safety principles and skills, and be provided with opportunities to put these into practice in realistic scenarios.
Assessment is carried out by submission of a post course Fire Risk Assessment to a template that the learner will be issued with. Upon successful completion of this, the learner will be awarded a Fire Service College Fire Risk Assessor qualification.
This course is recognised by the Institution of Fire Engineers and will contribute towards an application to be included on their register of Fire Risk Assessors and Auditors.
