SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Initial Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services (N.O.G. Level 1)

This course aims to develop and assess the knowledge and understanding of the U.K. Incident Command System and the practical performance of command skills of FRS learners in Initial Incident Command in accordance with NOS WM7.

Incident Command

SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Revalidation for Initial Incident Command in Fire & Rescue Services (N.O.G. Level 1)

Designed for those Learners who have previously qualified and require re-validation at ‘Initial’ level in accordance with National Operational Guidance.

SFJ Awards Level 4 Award in Intermediate Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services (N.O.G. Level 2)

This course aims to develop and assess the knowledge and understanding of the U.K. Incident Command System and the practical performance of command skills of FRS learners in Intermediate Incident Command in accordance with NOS EFSM2.

SFJ Awards Level 6 Award in Revalidation for Advanced Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services (N.O.G. Level 3)

Designed for those Learners who have previously qualified and require re-validation at advanced level in accordance with National Operational Guidance.

The SFJ Awards Level 7 Award in Strategic Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services (N.O.G. Level 4)

This qualification is aimed specifically at Fire and Rescue Services, and covers the acquisition of the functional skills, knowledge and understanding that is required to equip an aspiring or existing Fire and Rescue Service Strategic Commander to operate effectively in the Strategic ‘Gold’ Command role and to represent the organisation at a Strategic Co-ordination Group (SCG).

SFJ Awards Level 7 Award in Revalidation for Strategic Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services (N.O.G. Level 4)

Designed for existing and previously accredited Level 4 Incident Commanders who require revalidation as a Strategic Commander.

The MAGIC Course is delivered in partnership with the College of Policing (CoP), the National Ambulance Resilience Unit (NARU) and the Fire Service College (FSC).
