Other UK Emergency Responders

Preparing multiple agencies for wide range of emergency incidents

The College is a leading organisation providing assessed, accredited and assured multi-service training for all emergency service professionals.

Delivering interoperability

We recognise the benefits of a joint service approach to multi-agency training and actively seek ways of creating opportunities for Blue Light and Category 1 emergency responders to train together using our facilities.

We want to actively support policy makers and thought leaders in the interoperability arena. This ambition sees us working closely with the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme (JESIP) to develop best practice and new ways of working.

With the vast operational knowledge of our subject matter experts, our broad range of courses extends from basic training, pre-planning and operational response, through to large-scale incidents, complex USAR scenarios and incident command, from initial to strategic level.

From delivering a wide range of specialist courses to hosting realistic, complex, extensive and immersive multi-agency scenarios, we can help to enable emergency responders at all levels to train and validate learning at the strategic, tactical and operational levels.

Complex multi-agency practical exercises can be used to test and revise theoretical concepts of operation, providing opportunities for Blue Light services and other Category 1 responders to learn alongside each other. This helps to address the current disconnect between different training methodologies and can be used to instruct and validate the effectiveness of training programmes.

With high levels of security, our unique and totally secure venue enables organisations to design and execute bespoke courses safely, efficiently and economically, making the College the perfect location for multi-agency exercises in response to evolving threats.

We are developing new courses to train multi-agency responders across a broad range of disciplines. Coupled with our leadership position in command and control, this makes us the partner of choice for today’s emergency services.
