The NFCC came into effect on April 1, 2017 and is the professional voice of the UK fire and rescue service. The College is delighted to support the NFCC as part of our ongoing partnership. We feel it is important to work together and develop relationships which will result in the continued delivery of quality, sector relevant training.

Coolfire (Angus Fire)



Providers of Virtual Reality Software for safety and security. Utilisation of XVR Simulation Software supports the delivery of Incident Command Courses at the College.


The College has an agreement with Angus Fire that allows us to utilise the new CoolFire system, a high pressure cutting and extinguisher technology to fight fires from outside a building or structure.


Providers of Technical Rescue, Medical and Industrial Safety Training to the emergency services, civilian and military rescue teams and industrial safety responders. Training has been provided in conjunction with the College in Rope Rescue, Safe Working at Height, Water Rescue , Flood Management, Search Management, Confined Spaces and other related disciplines.

Weber Rescue UK

Holmatro designs, manufactures, tests and delivers hydraulic equipment and systems worldwide for industrial applications and technical rescue services. Holmatro has provided the College RTC Hub with innovative, state-of-the-art vehicle extrication equipment in support of our RTC Instructor and Firefighter Development Programme Courses for many years.


Clan Tools & Plant Ltd was established in 1980 as a supplier of Hydraulic Rescue Equipment to the Fire Service, Local Government, Ministry of Defence and Industry.  Clan has provided the College RTC Hub with state-of-the-art vehicle cutting extrication equipment in support of our RTC Instructor and Firefighter Development Programme Courses.


Weber Rescue UK is a leading supplier of high quality hydraulic equipment for the UK’s fire and rescue services. Weber Rescue UK has provided the College RTC Hub with state-of-the-art battery operated extrication equipment in support of our RTC Instructor and Firefighter Development Programme Courses.”

  The Fire Fighters Charity supports people from across the fire community at its centres and within local communities across the UK.   WFS is a voluntary, not for profit organisation with members from across all roles within the FRS community.  The College hosts the annual Training and Development Weekend which regularly attracts around 200 attendees.
