National E-learning award success for College HazMat training

The Fire Service College has been shortlisted for the
prestigious E-learning Age Awards for its work in providing
training for HazMat Officers.
The College's Hazardous Materials Environmental Protection
(HMEP) course was the subject of a joint submission by the
Fire Service College and IMC, the company that provide the
systems to run the College's managed learning platform
'FireLearn'.
The Fire Service College has been named as a finalist in the
category of 'Best online or distance learning
programme'.
E-Learning Age Awards judging panel said that they had
received an overwhelming number of very high quality submissions in
this category.
The overall winners will be announced at a special awards
ceremony on 11th November in London.
