The Fire Service College and Staffordshire FRS named National Training Award finalists

The Fire Service College is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2010 National Training Awards, the UK's premier accolade for Training and Development.

The entry, a collaboration between Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Fire Service College, is based on a highly successful incident command training campaign which was designed specifically for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service. 

The bespoke design, using local imagery and relevant case studies, significantly contributed to the realism of the learning experience and the immersive training was enhanced using the unique operational incident ground facilities at the Fire Service College.
