Ceri Darrell | Tuesday, October 12, 2010
The Mess Club of the Fire Service College will
be holding a charity Fireworks Display and Bonfire on
Thursday 4th November 2010 at Moreton in Marsh.
Entrance to the event is free and, as in previous years, a
collection will be made for the Mess Club's chosen charity.
This year the Mess Club is supporting Clic Sargent, which cares for
children with cancer.
Admission is from 6pm and will be via Mosedale, opposite Moreton
Football Club on London Road. The bonfire will be lit at
6.45pm and the fireworks display starts at 7.15pm.
Over the years the Firework Display organised by Mess Club at
the Fire Service College has raised thousands of pounds for
charity. Organiser, Kevin Gallagher, said: "This event
is always a highlight in the Mess Club's social calendar and the
local community usually turn out in huge numbers to enjoy the
Display. As well as having a great time, they have also
helped us to support many worthy charitable causes".
