Welcome to the Fire Gateway, developed by the Government in partnership with the Fire & Rescue Authorities to give easier access to services, help improve community safety and save lives.
Please note:
Fire Gateway will cease to operate, with effect from
31st March 2010.
Fire Gateway's transactional functions (i.e. the ability
to submit requests direct to local fire and rescue services) will
no longer be available for the citizens or
businesses, with effect from 4th February
2010.
- Relevant information (i.e. fire safety advice and information) will be transferred to, or available from, other existing websites, as follows, with effect from 31st March 2010:
- Home fire safety - http://www.directgov.co.uk
- Workplace fire safety and the Fire Safety Order - www.businesslink.gov.uk
- Users should continue to refer to their local Fire and Rescue Service websites for local information and enquiries.
