Electronic Resources

Many of our electronic resources are available through Athens, an internet-based single-sign-on access management system. Athens is widely used in higher education and provides access to all the electronic resources the College Library subscribes to. Delegates have access to Athens during the time they are studying on a course at the College.

Examples of electronic resources available online via Athens include:

  • IHS Technical Indexes: The Occupational Health & Safety Information service from IHS focuses on providing up-to-date authoritative online full text documents covering Legislation, British Standards, Fire Safety & Offshore material. Legislation update email alerts are available.
  • Dawsonera eBook Platform: The Library is currently seeking to add eBooks to its collections, and access to Dawson's eBook platform is now available to Athens registered users.
