Recruitment policy
The Fire Service College is responsible for its own recruitment
practices and procedures within the framework laid down by the
Civil Service Order in Council 1995 and the Civil Service
Commissioners' Recruitment Code. The principles of the Code are
mandatory and the fundamental principle is that appointments must
be made on merit on the basis of fair and open competition.
